Home movies of the Magic Kingdom in Florida's Disney World as it looked in 1976... before Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom were built. Some of the attractions depicted -- the Skyway, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea -- no longer exist. And what ever happened to the All American College Singers? :)

  • This is the first year I visited, as well -- my grandparents took me when I was only 4! This is when they had ticket books! I LOVE THIS!! Thanks so much for posting!

  • You're welcome. I remember those ticket books too! They had different color tickets for each area of the park. And if you had some left over, they were good forever, so you saved them for your next trip. (This was before they switched to pay-one-price.)

  • To semi answer your question about the All American College Singers, I remember they were still during the late 80's and early 90's but I don't know what happened to them after that.

  • Interesting. I didn't know that they were active into the 90s. I remember seeing them on TV at a half-time show in the early 80s, but I never saw them again after that. Thanks for the information.

  • I was there.

  • Love seeing the Davy Crockett explorer canoes in this video.

  • The intact and perfect WDW of my childhood. It has been both stripped and overdeloped. Oh how I miss this !!

  • Fantastic footage & Music selection !

  • Oh wow!!! Thanks for posting this video!!! I really miss the old Tomorrowland!! Looked more futuristic than today!! My brother and I were chosen to be in that parade at the end of your film!!! Thanks for the memories!!! We still have some of the old ticket books too! I wish someone would bring back some of the old rides like If You Had Wings and Dreamflight and Mr. Toads Wild Ride!!! A Special spot for us older folks!!!

  • "Disney allows rain?" lol, if you ask that question, then you haven't been to Walt Disney World in a LONG time! In the summer, it rains just about every day. Not for long; the weather is usually warm and humid in the morning, hot and sunny as the day progresses, then a 20 minute to 1 hour downpour at 3:30 pm, followed by a nice long sunny afternoon. The rain sounds annoying, but it's actually refreshing after a long, hot day. It cools off the paths, cleans the streets, and waters the plants!

  • This is an "E" Ticket video!

Looked liked it was packed the day you were there

  • Also yes, this is the days before Epcot, Animal Kingdom, MGM, etc. However since Epcot opened in 1982 I'm sure they were making plans for it. I love Disney World, the first time I went was in March 1992 when I was like, 3. My favorite part are the Mickey Mouse shaped balloons. seen at 00:58. They cost 10 dollars now as it's in a clear outer balloon! But it's worth it. I even have some at home I can blow up. Not the cheapo kind, the real kind like at Disney. Thanks for posting! :)

  • I just went there in January (first time I ever took a plane by myself! My aunt lives in Orlando) and let me tell you there is no better feeling than being on that monorail and seeing the Cinderella castle in the distance and knowing that you're going there. I love seeing vintage home movies of Disneyworld. Thank you for uploading
