there is more substance to jordans 30 + ppg 5+ast5+reb and 50% FG than what lebron,wade and kobe do in the current nba and playoffs. Lebrons 30+5+5+ and 50%fg deminish that milestone and deminishes jordans stats and athleticism because its easier to accumulate those type of numbers in the defensive handicaped league of today. Its takes alot less skills and athleticism to get 30ppg,5+ast5+reb and hit 50% from the floor today. You also take less of a pounding physically today, lanes are less

@dv122 Jordan is the best player to ever play this game but Jordan's 35, 5, and 5 on 50% FG is no more impressive than LeBron's STATS. Defense is softer but Jordan didnt have to score against a zone nor did he have to finish on athletic centers. Hence much fewer points scored today. Jordan was the only athlete of his caliber back then, today there are guys as ATHLETIC (not skilled) on every team at many positions. What separates MJ/LBJ is HOW they do it and the end result when it matters

@kelvincarter989 i dont think u are even close to getting the point. before, though 2 guards were smaller they will overpower u by means of hand checking. size aint a big deal coz they can use their hands to defend u so tell me how did size became an argument in MJ's era? if u talk about now, players at the 2 guard position may have gone bigger but since they cant use their hands to defend what happens is... a clear path to the lane. now tell me again... what's the use of the height advantage?

@dv122 no, they can play a zone today. if the defense was way worse, the teams would score more points. they score less than they did back then. jordan is the best to ever play but no need to make up stuff to make it even more apparent. what kobe and lebron have done in their time is very impressive, just not jordan. one thing jordan had to his benfit throughout his career is weak two guards throughout the league. today you have a ton of 6'6"-6'8" guards, back then jordan was tall for a 2 guard
