WTC diseñado para el Seawolf 1/144. Sistema de lastre estático, con bomba peristáltica hecha en casa, el tanque de lastre es

una bolsa de suero, conectada en su salida a un bypass con válvula antirretorno de acuarios y capilar de 0.5 mm.

Se sumerje cargando agua expulsando el aire, y emerge expulsando agua formando vacio en la bolsa. El sistema es completamente

estático, no se necesita propulsión ni planos de profundidad para sumergir/emerger el submarino.

WTC designed for conversion to RC of a Seawolf 1/144 display kit. It's a static ballast system, it uses a homemade

peristaltic pump, the ballast is a plastic serum bags (those used at the hospitals), and at the exit the bag is connected to

a bypass, an aquarium air valve and a hose with a tiny hole (1/2 mm).

To dive, the pump fills the bag; to emerge, the water is pumped out and a small vacuum is created inside the bag; once the

sub reaches the surface, it picks air again through an exposed hose.

  • A pump fills a plastic bag with water, air escapes throw a small hole (0.5mm); to surface, I pump the water out and the small hole prevents water from entering the bag again, creating a vacuum in the bag. This way the sub emerges again.

  • @rva1945 If air can escape the 0.5mm, I wonder why water cannot enter. Do you mean the water enters slower , not completely prevented from entering ?
