Did this and VirtualDubMod (1.5.10.2) is able to rotate or flip my video file as i can see in the preview window but after setting the video to "Direct Stream Copy" and then saving it to hard drive the video file has not been flipped, its still upside down even tho the output preview windows shows the correctly flipped video file.
I started with a 61MB file, then I did this, and ended up with a 950MB file. Why does VirtualDub make it so much larger? I want to have roughly the same size file as the output.

because you opted not to use any codec on the output file, thus your 950 MB file is an unencoded, raw video file: huge! xD
