This VisualOn video highlights the performance difference between the default multimedia framework shipped with the Android software stack and VisualOns Android solution known as VOME (VisualOn Media Engine). The demonstration shows the user the playback of a music video with default Android multimedia solution highlighting some of the known performance issues. The same music video clip is than playback for the end user with VisualOns Android solutioin (VOME) which results in significant performance improvements while maintaining all the standard JAVA APIs.
The demonstration in the units is HTCs G2 Phone with a Qualcomm 7K ARM11 processor.

How do i get this for my blackjack II? I'm pulling around 15fps, sometimes 21-22fps at 320x240 w/ 500kbps video bitrate w/ .mp4 using core player. I want to improve my plackback performance. I've noticed when playing a movie it only uses about 50% cpu or less and it's still laggy. That's why i'm confident that it's a software/ decoder issue.
thanks
