Forgive me for saying this, but when I hear sirens like this (loud, fast paced), similar to what you would hear from a siren in the US, I take it seriously. When I hear that honky-type siren, like what you hear on a Parisian ambulance, I just laugh.

@mcrking35 An emergency vehicle responding with lights and siren is "on a shout" in British English. In the states we might say "code three."
