this woman that tries to debunk these experiences dosen't make sense. What about the experiences that are journys to hell? There is no light, there is no feeling of peace. There's still a tunnel, but it leads into darkness, not light. Both the heavenly experiences and hell experiences are felt at the same level of death. However, the hell experience is the complete opposite. If its just a universal firing of neurons that cause the same effect all around, why is there no light in hell experiences

@MrGhostblood good point, I've brought that up before at an Open Minds discussion group I go to. Two people there have had NDE's including me, one an OBE and another struck by lightning three times. What a bunch eh lol!

@DAH210774 Well, that and also, I dont see how this skeptic gets stoned in her apartment and all of a sudden, near death experiences aren't real. That's a pretty bold statement to make when you have a whole lot of people confirming the same type of experience. I mean, all of her research began by getting stoned in her apartment. She shouldn't even be allowed to speak publicly about that, much less be able to tell someone they had a false experience. {sigh}

To maintain optimum states of peace, joy and beingness is and to spread that throughout the world without 'wanting' to change anything is the way to 'be'.
