Rover 4G Wireless Internet - Problems? Check Your "wifis"

http://www.facebook.com/chrispirillo ~ http://twitter.com/ChrisPirillo - Yay! Finally, I'll be able to... wait. No, I can't. The Rover Puck (running on Clear's service) isn't working for me, and their customer service is nothing short of a joke.

I don't know why, but I seem to be having the worst luck with technology lately. For some odd reason, everything I touch seems to stop working near-immediately. And you know me - I'm about as gentle as they come!

Well, so much for the idea of connecting to a 4G / WiMax network.

I dunno I watch netflix on mine and It takes a minute or so to load but movies play just fine. Beats Xfinity's overpriced service.

I also have the puck. I live in Houston and I can tell you, I also have the same no connect issues. Plus the battery not lasts only 15 mins or less. My puck would not connect for 4 days and guess what? Customer service was rude to me and did nothing to replace my lost days of connection. His name is Ben at rover customer service very rude. And still no help for me , the customer. I'm gonna take the puck back to bestbuy and write a letter to the FCC consumer affairs.

Sounds like my 8 year ordeal with Fry's

It took me about two hours to figure out hot to connect to my mac.

I had to type their Rover name & celar out the address bar's redirections and then click on the LOGO and jerk around with the menu... then was amazed that you can not sign up for service with PAYMENT before the trial runs out, not unless you buy a credit and have a pin number.

oh yea i use 4g but on sprint and no it doesent say clear ip it say sprint pcs the best works badass on over drive u300 u301 evo and epic i have my 4g connected on a htc evo love it

omg i like u now i hate clear the ceo resing last night clear shutting down and fast and pretty much there gonna be arreseted ceo and all the main workers so sucky there that what they get for ripping off custumers

My Rover Puck works awesome here in Miami and I just got it a couple of days ago, I'm glad I didn't watch this video then because I wouldn't have gotten it, maybe yours if defective, get another one and be a better reviewer, even soldierknowsbest and gadgettts did a good review on this
