  • What are you all going on about??? At the time, every emerging band was on TOTP. It was a promotional tool. Doesn't mean they weren't great live as well. And many of them, when on TOTP didn't take themselves too seriously, since it WAS playback & they figured the public knew it.

    Another example of an exraordinary ska band who gave/still gives super live shows & were on TOTP, not always taking themselves seriously: The Specials!

  • Oh my gosh! I remember watching this the first time round and was even telling my daughter about him taking his jacket off a the end and strolling off all cool... and he did! Good memories from watching this. The eighties were the best, man!

    very true my friend as live bands the Two tone band were great

  • To those waffling on about the lip synch thing. This is a 2 Tone era band. Most of these bands took the piss at times throughout their clips. Madness and Bad Manners were notorious for it.
