----------------------------------------
SOUTHERN MAN
Southern man better keep your head
Don't forget what your good book said
Southern change gonna come at last
Now your crosses are burning fast
Southern man
I saw cotton and I saw black
Tall white mansions and little shacks.
Southern man when will you pay them back?
I heard screamin' and bullwhips cracking
How long? How long?
Southern man better keep your head
Don't forget what your good book said
Southern change gonna come at last
Now your crosses are burning fast
Southern man
Lily Belle, your hair is golden brown
I've seen your black man comin' round
Swear by God I'm gonna cut him down!
I heard screamin' and bullwhips cracking
How long? How long?

This Southern man absolutely needs Neil around. And Lynyrd Skynyrd for that matter. It's funny that Neil and Skynyrd were all actually good friends and supported each other a lot. What a great buncha dudes.

I heard that was bit under more like something 20-30%. That was a study done on the facts I read some where. Who was the Politicians of those days. Rich white men, with their families. Who owned slaves rich white men. Who wanted to keep them the rich white man. Who died the poor white man.
From a poor white man fought for his country in place called Iraq. That is more of ghost now than man. A shell of a person.

Yet those states that were "fighting for their rights" which is true. We all proslavery. And wanted to keep that right too. Because the numbers of states was changing. Most of the southern politicians owned slaves. Hell even some in my own family. They were Danish so does than mean anything. That was the main difference because the that was the only different between the 2.

MOST northern states did not but the border states such as Kentucky and Maryland who supported the north did have slaves. Also, the 10% came from the AP US history textbook. Also, read a history book. The south didn't fight to keep slavery they fought for states rights. Ever heard of the Tariff of Abominations? Sure slavery was a part of it but it was not the whole reason never-less the main reason.

See the thing about why south get picked on for owning slaves is because for most part that is why they tried to leave the USA to keep owning slaves. At the time of Civil war most northern states did not have slaves. What source says only 10% of southern whites owned slaves?
