Soledad O' Brighty! How what the hell does this woman know about being Black. She is just another Mulatto who is accepted by whites. Please!

Many of these comments on this page are shameful. Everyone has their opinion and I feel it is OK to critique a public figure but it is very sad how wicked some people's thoughts are in regard to race. It is very sad that racism is still around this day and age.

My point is that she can have one white parent and one black parent and still have two Latino parents. Latino is a very broad ethnicity not a race of people.

80% of third generation and older Mexican-Americans speak only English or speak Spanish as an L2 learned later in life. So it is not a stretch for Soledad not to speak any Spanish and be Latino.

She says in this video or the next that she is African-American - I do not know enough about her background to critique this statement.

Although she has ZERO ties to blacks - no relationship whatsoever, she is honored by black groups for no apparent reason - other than they are dumb enough to think she's black.

Although she didn't even take the time, and had ZERO motivation to learn Spanish. Aside from her mother, has had no relationship to the hispanic community whatsoever - She is surprisingly stroked by all Hispanic groups.

Tough life! A slightly tanned, hot, rich, Harvard woman with every opportunity handed to her.
