It pains me that there's so many people that dismiss smart ideas and resort to name calling.

Oh. Well, I think he's doing a good job. It's not all about TVP anyway. It's about a train of thought.

True, that can be an issue. The talks would have to be shortened, simplified, and easy to absorb.

That's the optimistic talk I like to hear ... As it stands now, we haven't tapped that resource just yet ... Might be a faster resolution then human social paradigm shift !!! LOL :)

As I've asked so many times before, what about the unlimited natural resources of outer space?! That would make unlimited growth practical. Nevertheless, I still support the creation of a resources based economy over the current monetary based economy. I also believe that it's the unlimited natural resources of outer space that will make a resources based economy possible.

I also fully support a RBE/TVP and I love to hear Peter talk but I really agree with you on this one. When I start to think of the average person tuning in to listen to Peter speak, I get a bit irritated because I do feel he needs to simplify his language in order for more people to get what he's saying and take the messages to heart. I don't think he's intentionally being flashy, I think that's just the way he talks but I agree that it could be working against the message getting out.

You clearly don't know what you or Kuhn was talking about, there need to be consensus among researchers before a paradigm shift occurs.

As to based on empirical evidence... well just because you claim it is empirical evidence, does not make it so. And you clearly misunderstand Kuhn, and one of his greatest ideas, if you bring him up against this idea, namely the paradigm shift. The RBE is actually a paradigm shift. It's looking at evidence from a different perspective. Empirical proof is empirical proof, but what you don't get is that you can look at it from different points of view...
