I'm no whiz kid on it but I've got a 2002 turbo coupe n the alarm went off on that by itself only when I disconnected the battery tho, it's like an anti-theft system.

If you've still got the problem it my be down to low / bad car battery cuase as soon as you disconnect the main battery the alarm goes off, hp that was some help
