Uploading for a visual reference to the Mark VII club of a strange loose wire leading to the TFI module harness (later to be found out its to prevent the pulse from the TFI to interfere with other electrical signals or vice versa). This is a 1989 Lincoln Mark VII Bill Blass edition with a 5.0 HO engine.
UPDATE: Doing the TFI relocation mod, in short putting the TFI in a cooler area of the engine bay since Ford had the wise idea to slap it on the distributor, in the CENTER of a HOT engine. Annnnd the car isn't quiet anymore more, it has two Flowmaster 40's with turn downs.
