Because in all my days of supporting Dennis Kucinich, I have NEVER seen him or heard him deny anyone a voice at any event - even those who are there to verbally abuse him and unjustifiably attack his character, such is the case of parties who oppose him politically, he still engages them in discussion, always with him being the voice of reason. Dennis Kucinich needs a reading comprehension class. The preamble of the Constitution is a statement of why the Constitution is written. Article 1 Section 8 articulates that the enumerated powers are the specific powers congress has to promote the defense and promote the general welfare. While Mr. Kucinich's heart is in the right place, it is not under the powers of Congress to create public health care. Your State or County can though. EPIC FAIL!

50 cents does buy a LOT more in China thanks to the Unions and our Government constantly raising U.S. wages. That is why many Americans are now out of work. How many consumers will pay 3xs more for a product made in the USA? Not many. Corporations are no different when they shop labor costs.

You're comparing apples and oranges... 50 cents in China buys a lot more than 50 cents in the USA.

Kucinich is spot on to understand that the anger and rage expressed by the "teabaggers" is not without some justification.

Let's face it "Obamacare" is indeed riddled with all manner of compromises that result from Dems selling out to insurance and pharma.

A truly "robust" PO would be the equivalent of Single Payer for those that choose it! That kind of compromise would be acceptable; but it looks like instead (at best) there will be a watered down PO or they will compromise THAT down to less.

There is a lot to be said for DK's analysis of the role of Govt. & the real anguish & anger about corporate controlled Washington. If we believe in civil society we know we need some form of govt. so we need to fix it. I believe that there isn't much "pursuit of happiness" when you are going bankrupt & sick so it makes sense that the govt. provide for the general well being by providing for it. It is what makes civil society civil.

Again you call me a liar. How can someone link to a site one is banned from?! Trust me, friends and I have been silenced on the Kucinich site and John Edward's character IS important when he runs for public office. Palestinian & Jewish children are equally important, but not on Kucinich!

Otherwise I'm going to venture that the defense of Jewish Children was perhaps (and I'm just guessingh here) connected to a condemnation of Palestinian children. And John and Elizabeth Edwards' issues are nobody else's business at all.

What is a "Fair wage" when China is working for 50 cents an hour? Is it fair for Unions to inflate American goods so that our people end up un-employed? Now what is their wage?!
