@Sandraiga (comment part 2) So, Ed did just what his father did when Dante threw him into the gate. Ed recreated the union of his mind, body, and soul in our world. I'm pretty sure that all works out, and I can't think of any other explanation, but that's the point of the gate. We're not always supposed to understand the toll it takes, especially when it comes to human transmutation.
-
@Sandraiga Ed never fully understands the toll the gate took, and neither can we, but we can make some guesses. Basically Al's transmutation brought Ed's whole body back. Ed used his whole body as material to retrieve Al again, but the gate didn't take Ed's whole body. Instead, it took his arm and leg again (Ed's transmutation undid Al's transmutation), and it took Al's experience and age from their journeys. At that point, Ed was still inside the gate (missing an arm and a leg). (cont.)

FMA has some damn powerful moments.

Bah I'm just here for the music within a sad moment
-
@jasmineelmiari I like the music in the first series cause it feels more diverse than in the second series. mainly the fact that the second series music has like 3 different versions of one song on multiple occasions, and their music is based on two emotions, suspense and uneasiness (for the most part).
-
I'm sure this has been said before, but both series are great for different reasons. Which one you prefer is more attuned to your personal tastes, but both are well made regardless.

Didn't know that motherfckn shenron would be here!!!

I actually feel sorry for Envy. The only reason that he was so bitter was because of how Hohenheim rejected and abandoned him after his creation. It's really quite said, to be honest. He was really well made.

Please, can somone explain this to me? Ed's last transmutation was to give Al his life back and Ed sacrefised his own life for that. He then ended up in London on the other side of the gate. But why did he loose his arm and leg again? Didn't he give his whole body?

Brotherhood had better fight scenes and more characters. SO WHAT? Ninjas, panda bears and evil godly villains are all cliche and overused in anime. The original FMA had uniqueness, beauty and depth that no anime can compare to.
