  • Through a curtain fell Sirius Black, of the infamous dark wizard family. As lively as was his life, his death was silent.

  • @wishywashywara i think it would be like this:

    EVERYONE I TOUCH DIES!!!

  • I cried in this scene

  • @Sauraiuser2212

    Yeah the final fight was entertaining, I just felt like it left the audience wondering what or why the hell all that just happened, if they hadn't read the books.

    I felt 6 was suppose to be the teen comic-relief movie. And yeah, there wasn't much on Hallows at all compared to the book, but I actually did injoy the final fight between Harry and Voldemort instead of circling each other like animals ready to pounce. I do with that their final clash was in the great hall like the book though, a crowd can make you feel pretty bad-ass! (;

    Yeah. IMO for 5 they shoulda split it in two, like 7, and for 6 and 7 (movies) they just focused on the wrong parts and didn't put enough emphasis on others that needed to be shown.

  • @Scarecrow545 lol alright. and yeah i know what u mean, like when they find out about them, they didnt discuss the concept of how voldemorts horcruxes would b no match against the hallows, and the repeated phrase hallows vs. horcruxes etc. one scene i really wish they would of shown was wat exactly happend at godrics hallow on october 31st when harry sees it after nagini attacks him. the movie seemed to b more like "harry potter and the deadly horcruxes" but oh well :O

  • @13LuciusArchangel You should, it's my favorite HP book =)

    And nah, they really didn't make things very clear. In fact, the whole reason the book was named what it is is lost in the movies. They didn't put any focus on the Hallows whatsoever, making them some useless aside put in just for the sake of matching the book, rather than actually telling the story as intended.

  • @Scarecrow545 i havent read the OTP book, only parts in its wiki. but DH yes, and the verbal confrontation with harry and voldemort: i wish they would of had it but the audience already know about snaped loyalties, as far as the explaination of y the wand failed voldemort, they make up for that in the movie when the trio talks and harry snaps the wand.

  • @13LuciusArchangel

    How about the whole sequence between Dumbledore and Harry after Sirius' death? And a similar one between him and Harry where much of what happened in The Deathly Hallows was explained to Harry, and so to the readers as well, tying up the loose ends? Harry and Voldemort's verbal confrontation at the end of 7? All gone for some flashy fight/death scene.

  • @Scarecrow545 like what?? the brain room and the friends ship between harry and tonks, and her love for lupin?
