Love the concept and have to agree with @GanonMasta that this system is better than your previous add some glows to the characters make light shine off enemies or maybe have a red blob shadow underneath enemies and a yellow or green under your player to make them stand out.

I actually like this better, although I do agree that the characters don't stand out enough, but that's just cosmetics.

Maybe it's just me, but I can barely tell what's going on here. I realize he was easy to see on your earlier vids, but he definitely needs to stand out more. I like the dashing around via the old teleporting effect you had before. Looking really good though, it's been awesome seeing the progress from video to video, and seeing how you take criticism and turn it into tweaks for your next build. Keep up the good work!

Definitely agree that he's hard to see, my thoughts on it:
I'm a bit of a gintama fan and am thinking the main character with some bright colors like Ginoki Sakata from the show.
Another thought I had was a straw hat samurai with a sort of miner candle(but not exactly) strapped on his hat, I think I'll go try something like that now on the robot I think.
It's not really realistic(fire hazard lol) but this isn't a realistic game.
