Rare footage Recorded in 1988 at Washboard Bill's home in West Palm Beach Florida in Bill's livingroom. The audio is from a later recording session where Bill is relaxing between takes. One of only a few Blues artists given the Florida heritage award, he once recorded an album for the Smithsonian (!) with Pete Seeger and Brownie McGhee and cut several singles for King Records. In his youth he was a bona fide Hobo, riding the rails along the Eastern Seaboard. He was a storyteller and joke master supreme. His business card read simply, "WASHBOARD BILL - RHYTHM, BLUES, COMEDY".
