Drifting! With CRASHES!

This is the first year of the now annual drifting compeition hosted by Drift Clevelands group (http://www.driftcleveland.com) on Aug 15th 2010!

It was a great event hosted at Lake County Speedway which really gave the experienced drifters a challenge. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the 2011 Drift Effect!

Im not saying drifting is easy, but you look a some of these guys (underground drifters) and they do seem like absolute novises, look a the space between them

Think about if this was your hobby, and you were riding with people you barely know, in your drift car you put everything into :P

I think that answers your statement, trust me if all these guys had free sponsored cars and there was money involved they would be ALOT closer.

I agree! Thats becuase you dont have people like me walking around with HQ camcorders that they researched for many months just to find one that wouldnt cost $5000 but would perform close to a few thousand dollar camcorder:D

@ChrisJuliano well that and theres good uncut footage of good well filmed drifting. and yeah haha my friend has a sony vx2100 that costs like 2.5k with an 800$ lense and its not even that great compared to this

Ah ic what you mean! Yeah this camera is the size of a fist too so its VERY compact!

The really exspensive camcorders would be fun but I am not serious into filming as I am photography so I just wanted a cheap one that would be around $1k.

I gotta say this is great for some ametures. Some of them need to get more comfortable with their cars but overall they were pretty good. I would ride along with any of them... well except the miata driver, he was a bit to heavy on the throttle just before each spin...
