Those that say earmarks are good are the same as those saying unions are good.
Both ideas have a good concept, but they have been so distorted, abused and warped they no longer resemble anything good from their former selves.

This president turned out to be the champion of earmarks. It is simply another broken promise!

Earmarks are good because they:
-address miscellaneous items and projects that the general budget did not address
-can create jobs
and
-improve infastruce, commerce and agencies.

Agreed.
We need to only provide the necessary essentials as outlayed by the consitution and leave things like law enforcement, education, etc. to the states
