Baba O'Riley [Teenage Wasteland] by The Who in Mario Paint Composer

Sorry for the horrible quality. I had to do it to get the speed decent. However, I challenge you to find a version that has been done more technically accurate.


This... was done completely by ear.The Who made an awesome song. However, 3 months ago when i decided to start working on this I did not realize it would be impossible. Now I am finally finished. This took me well over 35 hours to complete, but it is probably much more than that. Plus, it goes at an impossible tempo, and it was extremely difficult to make. The only copy of the background synth that changes and runs the entire time is in the possession of The Who.

While your watching, look for the hidden Yoshi!

Also, try to ignore the fact that some of the sound covers up the rest of the parts.

@riccifilippo It's free, It's the simplest program. It is extremely limited, and therefore challenging to the user. People seem to appreciate the work put into these. i personally use it as a challenge to myself to transcribe a piece by ear.

Never in all my life have I seen someone actually try to compose a song on MARIO PAINT!!! Where did you get it, I used to have it for my SNES, but could never find it ANYWHERE!!! OMG, HOLY **** and all that, WHERE DO I GET THIS GAME FOR THE COMPUTER?!?!?!

Also, there are many other people who have made many more songs than I have, you can check the related videos or do a search for "Mario Paint"

If you watch enough videos, you will see that this game has really evolved, with people making their own custom soundfonts, breaking the tempo limits, using the notorious "low a" glitch. I however do all my songs by ear and use the original soundfont. I have a new channel where I will continue to post videos. user/DjTSex

That was only because so many people think the song is called "teenage wasteland," hence your anger, hence your use of caps lock.
