Alot of people were mad about the traffic, I think it's because they want to see the 1st ever Cup race at Kentucky. It dosen't really matter how many people were there. As long as they want to see the race track that they have never been to before. I obviously feel bad about the people that got stuck on the traffic. I mean, that wasn't good if you get stuck there. I understand what DW says on Nascar.com. But the people that work the traffic gotta get the job done.

Hahaha this just made my day! I feel your pain, man. WTH was up with those one-lane KY roads? We were speeding down one of those, too, wondering what would happen if a car came at us from the other way, but not really caring at that point. Ran into more gridlock by the river and then headed back over to the east side of I-71 and had much better luck. Still had to walk 2 f'n miles to the track, but we made it to our seats by the time the competition caution came out. Unbelievable.

Now you can sell these directions and make millions like they do at Darlington!

Hell, man I don't even know how I got there. I did the same thing as you and took back roads. Got off I71 and took Hwy.35, expecting less traffic. That wasnt the case, as it was backed up from 11 miles out of Warsaw. Took Hwy 1039 I think, and the GPS led me to a road out below the track. I left at 2:00. Shouldve been an hour drive. Didnt make it in until 100 laps had gone. BUT because the parking was all gone, I fussed with a state trooper until he (to my suprise) let me park in the
The parking was horrible!!!!! We parked on top of the hill where the sunoco tank was and that shit was so fucking horrible! They were just standing there waving traffic by not directing anyone to park in an line...Finally I sad screw it and made my own damn parking spot so we could get out the car and get going. Made it inside the track around 5:00-5:30. While I had a good time while there......i wanna know what the hell was the deal with the open spots on the pavement with no cars parked!!!
