Firstly thank you, this video was well done. Secondly, I realise this is more patient oriented, however I feel that a little bit more explanation about when/in what bowel pathology each type of colostomy is needed would be beneficial for interested students =)

@Tholius Thank you for your comment, I value your feedback. I have considered doing another video and adding more explanation for each of the stomas. I tried to keep it short and to the point to keep folks interested. YouTube will allow me to post longer videos now…If I make a new one targeted to nursing students, can I count on you for more feedback?

@gacwocn Absolutely, I'm a medical student though & based on not knowing how in depth nursing students need to be familiar with these concepts (more so than doctors I'd imagine actually =)), take my feedback with a grain of salt.

This is very informative and I thank you so much for presenting it!!!! I just have one discrepancy...the double barrel....my text describes it as a double barrel shotgun, in which the two are sutured together and pass out through one opening.
