@Bassett457 Maicon may be good for experience but he's not one of the best, Puyol, Vidic, Dani- Alves and as much as i hate to say it Ashley Cole are all superior, i'm not disputing that Bale is talented or dangerous, or that Lennon is, i simply dont think he ranks along with Messi or again, as much as i hate to say this, Ronaldo. At a push he's like a young Ryan Giggs, which is something to be proud of. He has more potential than Giggs did though, however dont expect him to stay with Tottenham

@scaryninja1693 oh come on, lennon has the pace and can get past people easy, maicon is one of the best defenders in the world and for bale to just get past him that easily is pretty special, lennon has scored goals and has good vision, and with bale and lennon on both wings it is dangerous for other teams.

@Bassett457 Well i didn't specifically say that Lennon was average, i said Maicon was slower than most average players and then used Lennon as an example of a player that could of outpaced him, although i can see how you could of misinterpreted the comment. On another note though if Lennon learnt to put the ball in the box instead of dicking about, and perhaps if he learnt how to play the correct pass more often then i'd actually rate him, but for now he's just a fast runner. Not special at all.

@BOAZGIGGSMAN I disagree, Maicon is simply much slower than even the most average players, Lennon could of outpaced Maicon just as easily, hell Gomes could of outpaced him, he definately has an eye for goal thats a given, but so does Tim Cahill or Kevin Nolan, the difference is we haven't seen players like them against Inter, can he trick his way through 4 defenders and stay upright like Messi, no, can he outpace faster defenders like Ashley Cole the way Lennon can, not often. Impressive though
