The Every Other Day Diet is safe for those that are healthy; however Dr. Daugirdas does make a statement that it has not been extensively tested for safety with individuals with diseases such as: heart disease, eating disorders, kidney disorders, hypertension or diabetes. That is something that will likely follow in the future, however at this point it has not been proven safe for those individuals. For others that are in good health, it is perfectly acceptable and they can lose weight, feel great and not have to worry about fitting into last years party dress or suit!
