Goodness you did not even mention the Silver Bridge tragic collapse in December of 1967 where 36 people died and the Mothman sightings seen in that area from just over a year prior to the collapse. That is where and how the history of the sightings began there. Read the book about it or at least watch the movie for pete sake.
