@HistoryGamerDotCom ehm... doesnt risk start off by spreding the continant cards to players? or do u actuelly have to defend ur own country that is marked by its color or troops on game board?.

@HistoryGamerDotCom indeed it is!

@daredog8 A luxurious position to be in sir!

@HistoryGamerDotCom usually when I play I am often the most experienced (which isn't saying much) so often I can just convince anyone to do my bidding

@daredog8 Thanks for your strategy. Its always interesting to see what other people like to play. I can tell you that in the games I take part in anyone getting anywhere near to getting North America or Europe (Asia - forget it) gets pounced on and suffers. In the games I take part in these larger continents are a long term goal, but each game is different!
My fav is probably Africa. It is easy to defend as well to attack. I usually grab South america and Middle East just in case.

@sgtnerf10 Africa is good. I am happy to win from Africa as a base if South America is too hot. It can be a little too connected though if you know what I mean.

@HistoryGamerDotCom sory my comment was confusing, what i mean is. In the begining of the Risk game. You take the mission cards and spred the country cards to players. now my QUESTION TO YOU is, do players need ALSO to protect there country? (whitch is marked by there faction color)

@egdqv13234 There are many ways to play Risk. Here I present the 1960s rules. No mission cards, random draw start. I much prefer this method of playing, but each to their own.
