I keep finding these X-Com videos posted by people with fleets of Avengers, more money than Bill Gates, powerful psychics, and hovertanks, but they send their troops into battle wearing pajamas. Why?

Awesome videos, they bring back my memories. I played Xcom many years ago on Commodore Amiga, really great game. New versions of X-com are really shitty (Aftermatch, Aftershock etc.)
