We have 5 red ear sliders, all of various ages. They are all rescues, Speedy was found just walking down the street with a big open wound over her left eye. My wife and I nursed her back to full health. The other 4 turtles are Crush, Louie, Vern and Houdini, all of them have their own personalities. We got Crush and Louie from The Devonian Gardens here in Calgary. Vern and Houdini were acquired from a friend that was unable to take care of them anymore. I made the deck with some scrap plexi-glass at a friend's shop. The ponds are you every day ponds you find at a home center. I am still working on it.

  • I have since raised my lamp and got the temp to stay at a steady 90 degrees and they seem to enjoy for the whole 8-10 light cycle.

  • nice setup

  • Thanks for the props, I try really hard to make them comfortable.
