  • Can you store the rules in a file or do you have to type them in every time?

  • You can save them on redhat by typing service iptables save.

    Or, the preferred method, save them in a script and have them initialize on boot. This way you can edit them easily.

  • Amigo.,, I am new to linux and want to know if you can do next, I want to install a computer as my firewall and Iptables in Ubuntu, but what happens on my local network I have 2 PC WEB SITE and are listening on port 80 external (Internet), Which I wonder if once you get the request from Internet to my PC with Ubuntu, I can THROUGH Iptables Filter which makes the application domain and send them to one of the 2 I have in my pc web the network, but not how to do it ..
