@redSKORPION50: Something that did pleasantly surprise me was connecting my Barco (video composite) to my Humax FoxSat HD. Although there's no resolution change required I was very impressed with the noticeable quality of 1080i image compared to say a source from a cable TV SD box. The Humax delivers a remarkable image output from composite higher than you'd assume. At some point I'd like to purchase and try a HDMI (Humax) to VGA (BNC Barco) convertor box (as opposed to HDfury) for comparsions.

@MeMooSYTUK The HD Fury will provide the handshake for bluray movie discs to be played at higher res, i have an NEC and a Sony, so im not sure about Barco specs, my NEC is a 9PG, the Sony is a 1001 QM and will only do 576i, so in the case of the Sony a HD fury wouldnt benifit me either.

I am currently using a VGA 15 pin HD D-Sub to 5 x BNC cable. There is an option to use HDMI via an interface called HDFury, I personally don't feel my CRT would benefit the upgrade due to its age (1994) and limitations. Regards.

CRT is the best !
Excellent. What year is your projector. I noticed you're displaying a wide screen resolution, was this a modification. (Barco 500 Data Owner).

I think that the projector is build in 1987...
There are no modifications, it's just the signal that's in widescreen.
I've seen your projector on your channel. How do you have it connected to your computer? With BNC or has it a VGA input?
