I agree with you, your father was that kind of man. In 1971, your uncle Haji Ibrahim from Pekan was our business partner and we wrote a letter to Tun Razak hoping he can use his influence to waive a huge traffic fine. About 2 weeks later, he wrote back with words such as this "Dear Uncle, every Citizen who commits an offence should pay the fine ......." Even though he was the PM at that time, yes, he wrote back. I should have kept that letter.
