I saw a post today where a person, an avowed conservative, said that when the liberals are elected in November, as they most certainly will be, we are going to lose our civil liberties.

1) Which liberals might that be, they all have quit.

2) What civil liberties?

To be honest, of a Democrat wins it, I think you're going to see a total reverse by the Republicans on this issue. I think they won't be so thrilled with the prospect of a Democrat spying on them. I guess time will tell.

There will be twists and turns in the Republican vs Democrat landscape, dare I say charade. But considerable damage has been done and a number of genies are out of their bottles.

The Federal government is hollowed out, privatized. The overseers of the letting of private contracts are now private contractors.

Who says that George Bush wasn't a huge success.

@bennygale It's been several years now and the prophetic power of a conservative is just like those that told us the iraq war oil would pay for the war; name a square in bagdad after bush; the civil war was just "pop culture"; and, the iraqi's would be waving US flags. They got the flag part right, yet they were on fire.

We lost six tenths of the bill of rights under shit for brains bush.
