@cookiec1025 Pre CU was the most epic game ever made. Then some moron at SOE said "this game is way to intelligent for 99% of humanity, we need to totally dumb it down" and the best game ever died.

All the professions in wow swg had long before wow exsisted.
cooking,fishing,chef,creature taming, harvesting meat,skins,bones,gathering resources,crafting,feign death in swg, wow hunter feign death, everything swg did wow did PERIOD. Learn your history. Wow will never compare to the pre-cu system, . I played them both from release, soe dropped the ball with the CU. Crowning wow.

i remember this, helios dancing men and i like big butts. i watched those videos a couple i think weeks before i started SWG when i was like 7 or 8. i got banned from a vent server and havent talked on a mic since then.

In pre cu there was 32 professions, NO LEVELS, was not a fucking wow clone and you could mix and match professions.
Now, I admit I havnt played nge in a while ( I tried it just for the hell of it about 2-3 months ago) but in the last couple months did they bring back all 32 professions, skill box system, remove jedi as starting class, un-nerf crafting so it takes hard work and some luck to make uber items (and actually HAVE player made uber items) remove leveling?

Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, was released on June 26, 2003 in the United States of America, November 7, 2003 in Europe, December 23, 2004 in Japan, and in 2006 in Australia.
World of Warcraft was released on November 23, 2004
SWG was in production BEFORE wow, And soe had the brilliant idea of the cu to better compete. It was basically the mmorpg fight of that specific time frame. Had soe left it alone they would NOT have seen the massive drop off they did.
