  • Deadline wasn't so good as Feed, since there's no actual reveal beyond why Kelly was there, why Shaun wasn't affected by Georgia's aerosolised blood in the van, and why such an inproportionate number of people with Kellis-Amberlee resovoir conditions [like Georgia's Retinal KA] were dying.

The plot remains uncovered for the world to see, the team hasn't stopped running. It didn't have an ending like Feed did. And a cliffhanger isn't something I want from a novel.

    Awesome series though.

  • @Amandolin01 it is a cover in the works...but generally the direction! the livewire symbol WILL be the icon for the book.

  • @NojhLivic Just trying to help people who havent read FEED yet...love these books!

  • Kudos to all three of you, Mira, Lauren, and Matt. A book trailer I can finally point to and say 'Yeah that's compelling, informative, and visually appealing!'

  • What a fabulous series. How can you resist the mix of Zombies, Bloggers and world catastrophe? I heart Mira Grant!

  • I LOVE THIS SERIES. And this? This is exactly how I envisioned Shaun sounding.

  • ...as if I didn't want to read DEADLINE enough, now this trailer makes it imperative!

  • Feed was AWESOME (from an individual who does not use the word, lightly). Having read the Toby Daye series, and the Sparrow Hill stories, I had only very high expectations. 'Feed' blows them all out of the water. 'Deadline' was supposed to arrive today, but didn't. Anybody know a Judge who is a fan of hers?

(Just in case I shoot the UPS guy if he doesn't bring it, tomorrow. . . .)

    Bill (another Aphelionite) Wolfe

  • Hmm, is Matt older than Shaun? He sounds it.

  • Great job by Lauren, thanks for adding Seans latest. Oh yeah, thanks to Mira for coming up with the world of 2041.
