This video is a tribute to the people in it who are now gone. Can you spot me? I'm still here.

  • My God, what has happened to our country??

  • @VeriSheri : Not much has happened. We are just now revealing our true selves. The people you see here were unconscious. Of those who are sill alive, most of them still are unconscious. They dress in their Sunday Clothes and they go to Church, but they tolerate all sorts of absurd atrocities. Still, I like to remember the way they (and I) thought they were.

  • @stars4light ...why so cynical? What I see is an American family that believed in the concept of family and loved their children and grandchildren. Is there something I'm not seeing?

  • @VeriSheri : That is what I thought for almost 50 years. Then the truth started coming out. Things are not always what we think. Yes, there was love there, but the love was not stronger than the greed. And, those who were only superficially involved refuse to see what happened, which magnifies the pain. Let me just say that there is no betrayal quite equil to the betrayal of family. Strangers, you can sometimes accept, family, never.

  • @stars4light ...Very sorry. You are right, family betrayal is the worst. I can tell it has hurt you deeply. You don't have to forget, but I hope you can forgive and let go of this burden on your heart.

  • @VeriSheri : What I really wish is that I could prevent what happened to me from happening to others. Just remember, what you see on the surface is often just an illusion.
