  • @altrock182182 i'm sorry sir rookie. only 4 years in this industry. i would but my 20yrs against your 4yrs any day. by the way. TORQUE ARRESTORS DO NOT RANGE IN THE $75.00-$100.00 VALUE. THEY R NO MORE THAN $20.00 TO $25.00.IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEBODY BEEN OVER CHARGING PEOPLE

  • its a 5" pvc well.. its not going to bounce around and damage itself. ive been installing pumps for 4 years now. this setup would have little to no gain from installing a torque arrestor. those submersible pumps are extremely durable and being inside small pvc casing makes it even less likely that it owuld have any effect on the service life on the pump. those torque arrestors are in the $75-$100 range and wouldn ot be worth putting in this system

  • @altrock182182 well. torque arretors r not just used for only one reason. If U put A 2 wire submersible down A well. with PVC DROP PIPE AND NO TORQUE ARRESTOR. NO MATTER WHAT SIZE OF THE WELL CASEING MAY BE. THAT SUBMERSIBLE IS GOING SWING SIDE 2 SIDE AND BANG AND HIT THE SIDE OF WELL .IT WILL DO THIS UNTIL IT GOES OUT OR EVEN JAR LOOSE UNSCREW AND DROP. SEE TORQUE ARRESTORS R NOT ONLY USED 4 THE KEEP SAKE OF YOUR PUMP FROM UNSCREWING. IT ALSO KEEPS THE THE SUB PUMP IN CENTER

  • What the fuck, is there some thing in the water where you live that makes you Dumber then your average human>? what did you show? NOTHING, no instruction as to HOW you got to that point. AND no after shot of it working? Stick to using your video phone to recording porn.

  • @canalv111

Torque arrestors are required only on 1.5HP and higher. this is a 3/4hp or 1hp pump. They don't have the startup torque to unscrew from 1-1/4" pipe if its properly tightened. 3/4 and 1hp pumps have different control boxes that have a much softer start(or no control box and a soft start in the motor itself for a 2 wire pump). Yes it would be beneficial to have the torque arrestor, but it's not required.

  • lol your clueless bro.

  • There needs to be torque arestor installed on the drop pipe as soon as it comes off the pump head

  • Just by looking at 28sec of this video. It showed that this person does not know what he is doing. To install A submersible pump with PVC DROP PIPE. Thier needs to be a TORQUE ARRESTOR set at the top of pump. To keep the pump from unscrewing from the pvc pipe when it turn off & on.Also this is water that you are going to drink and give to you family. You do not want the drop pipe lying on the ground.Installation like this should be done by pros.

  • @swivelgate It showed several things. First of all it documented what was inside the well for possible future home buyers and it also showed that he has a 120 foot deep well with PVC pip and an inline water pump. This is extremely valuable if you want to sell your home or show others. This also shows that the water table in his area is around 120 feet. Makes you realize that you pay big bucks to the well digger for a 120 foot hole in the ground.
