Join Synopsys in our lab to see actual USB 3.0 data transfer utilizing the DesignWare Superspeed USB Host and Device Controllers implemented in an FPGA. This demonstration shows a 1080p, 30 frames per second video, streaming from the device into the host with a measured throughput of 460 MB/s utilizing the Lecroy CATC analyzer.
Wow, this is an early USB3.0 demonstration - the controller cards are massive, some damn difference compared to the NEC based controllers of today. Impressive to see the design basically 100% working at that time though.

That is really intense! What's the burst speed on the controller? Also, do you need any additional conductors going between the systems or is it possible to use the four total?
