@Wallimann ah i see now. i played those 3 scales on top of each other and i see how they all have the chord tones DFAC.

This is the most informative and easy to understand explanation of modes for guitarists that I have come across...I have never really "gotten" a practical understanding of modes till now...wow!!! THANKS!!!!!hctubj
