lol a spiral at the top means it's not bamboo, it's draceana or "lucky bamboo", don't plant it outside or it'll prolly die.
they all grow fast, different species are better for different purposes; if anyone decides to plant in the states, it's best to grow some of the indigineous bamboo like A. gigantea, that way run-away bamboo isn't actually invasive, since this country is where it originates from.

My bamboo is straight at the bottom but like a spiral at the top.Where should i put it And how tall will it grow?
