Adam Kirk's 2011 Demo Reel

My demo reel upon graduating from Sheridan College's animation program.

Demo Reel Breakdown:
1. Scenes from "Cry Monkey" 2D classical animation. I did everything in these shots.
2. Sonic the Hedgehog head rotation. I did everything on this shot except the character design, which belongs to Yuji Naka of Sega.
3. Luthien Treehouse. Everything except the emblems on the wall and floor which were designed by JRR Tolkien.
4. Boyfriends. I did the animation and background. Characters were designed by Moye Zhang.
5. Twenty Dollar Bill. I did the animation using scans of a Canadian twenty dollar bill.
6. Frisbee in a Graveyard. I did everything in this shot.
7. Scenes from "Apollo's Mission". I only did animation and compositing for these shots. This was a group film with Nathan Jamieson, Diane Aarts, Karen Wood, Aminder Dhaliwal, Sandra Loke, Dan Santos, Mike Michel, Kyle Bryan, Amber Robinson, Jae Cho, Levi Somerville and myself working as equal partners.
7. More scenes from "Cry Monkey". I did everything on these scenes.
