@CrosscutSell He meant a .25 of a dollar, not 25%. He just made a quarter, one coin.

The car valet turned bureaucrat is the epitome of small, petty men (I know it's just a movie) and what would become of our world were they ever to have power, however fleeting. This movie is gettin' me all riled up!! It's kinda bad, but it is excusable, because it looks like it was made for general audiences.. Good lessons to be learnt here!! Freedom is yours!! PEACE

Sounds like an anti-Semite, but change the script...and a racist, also change the part "women" are property. Based on real life history, even in America's murky past. The movie teaches us a lesson on what we prize most as humanity is freedom, not money...and the abuse of power is everywhere in the world, then & now, and what we can learn is or all of us to cherish our freedoms we take for granted. +

Let's include the "lost script": Collins also put all the pedophiles, molesters or sex offenders to death. Hey...this is a real undemocratic state without due process to law & no "innocent until proven guilty" rule, more like the Code Napoleon used in France & most countries in the world.
Questions: All of the media is now state-owned? Is there an official law to make everyone measure in metric units? Was the valet man based on a homeless young man named Adolf Hitler in 1913 Vienna? I see. +

Definitely...without the bill of rights, to criticize the president, government or the law et al is a crime. In the movie, there's no free elections, not performed secretly (or coerced to make a "right" choice) & not even fair & square. President Collins won without an opponent, maybe he done away with anyone who opposes him & no political parties. He rules by word of mouth or through his own declared "official" party of cronies. This isn't democracy, it's "one-man, one-party, one-vote" rule. +
