In the eleventh lesson we continue learning the undulations, concentrating on the full-body undulations, called "the camel move". Join us in this belly dancing lesson, as well as in the full online belly dancing course from BellyDanceBoulevard.com. Watch and practice at the comfort of your home, by yourself or with a friend.
If you are not a registered member yet, we welcome you to enter Belly Dance Boulevard - a true home of belly dance on the web. You will discover a beautiful boutique, a community with a teacher directory, articles, upcoming events calendar and much more.
While using this video for practice, I want to remind you to start with the basic posture as was taught in the first lesson, and also that learning to belly dance over the internet does not constitute an alternative for taking classes with a teacher.
The music in this lesson is from Yair Dalal & the Alol Ensemble's CD "The Perfume Road", and The song's name is "El Halidg (The Persian Gulf)".You can read about Rsdwan and also buy the CD here:

Now go have fun!

  • Is it possible to become a great dancer only by learning alone, with time an daily exercises ? Or is a teacher absolutly necessary ?

  • @theguitariste I can't say that it is absolutely impossible, so let's say that it is near impossible. I believe that it is necessary to communicate with a teacher as well as with other dancers in order to become a great dancer.

  • nice video. Im from Brazil.Im a bellydance`teacher in my country. thanks very much

  • @mariasegal Hi Maria, will you consider taking part in this project too? you can read all about it on the website. It will be great to get a lesson from you too!

  • Hi,

Thank you so much for your lessons and explanations. This is very clear and well performed. Is is possible to know where did you buy your top and your scarve? Thanks in advance !!!!

  • Sure! All the hip scarves I wear are from the boutique at the boulevard. By now only some are left. As for the tops, I used to sell them too at the boutique, and although I don't right now, I hope they will be back soon.

  • ah i love it but is too hard!! even if u do it too clear to mk us seen easy! tnx!

  • @theguitariste I've been belly dancing for 3 years and its always helpful to have a teacher. If you just want to belly dance to loose weight then these are fine, but if you want to dance like Rachel Brice, Asharah, Oliva Kissel, Ansuya, then you'd need a teacher.

  • You are SO beautiful! One of the most beautiful people I have seen.

  • @BellyDanceB okay I understand. Thank you for your answer !

  • @BellyDanceB ok, thanks. Im from Brazil. Im a teacher in my country.I studyed arabic dance for 12 years old and I had the best brazilian teacher. Many lebanon people came to Brazil and brought their culture.I had flamenco and indian dance class too. But nowadays i have my way to dance.
