Here we have a short video of the very first time we tried to start a Yamaha FZ750 First start after 5 years in shed. We bought this bike on ebay for £200 and we have started to restore it to it's former glory

  • any chance of seeing your restoration videos?

  • Use Start Pilot!

  • f reg is 1988, because my little kawasaki ar50 is an f reg and thats from 1988 :)

  • i think what you need clean the carburetors

  • poor bike...the engine runs rough and bad...

  • Another good little vid - similar trick to E Lawson rep - covering carbs to suck goo into engine - could have done with that getting mine back on road. Note to anyone watching - putting airbox back on is nightmare if rubbers all shrunk - ended up buying new ones from Yam £12 each, tried hot water / silicone spray etc new ones went straight on

  • Yeah, update please, with before and after shots!

  • Dudes, how's the bike coming along?
