I am a Doom Metal artist and I LOVE old music! Bing Crosby, Doris Day, Patsy Kline, Ricky Nelson....the whole bunch. They had a way with atmosphere and their voices were flawless. Back in the day when being a musician still took TALENT! :-)

@tuguybear That is a great pity that you never saw any of Slim,s concerts. I first saw him in Glasgow Scotland in the 1955 & saw him many times after that too.
The last concert was his Farewell concert maybe about 5 or 6 years ago, in Glasgow. As soon as he came on the stage, the whole audience stood up & clapped for about 15 minutes. I was actually so happy to see him again & was in tears. He was brilliant that night. I will never forget it.

OMG this song is amazing i watched house of 1000 corpses and it was my fav part, being a teenager im supposed 2 listen 2 modern music but its crap id sooner listen 2 this
