  • I just bough the CD for this orchestra... and I think it's a shame and a majo insult to this great CD that I found it in a dollar store...

  • I went to see these play at Royal Festival Hall when I was a kid it was brilliant!

  • Sad to see a once great orchestra, well in the 1950's at least, struggling to get through as familiar a piece as this, You would think they could play this in their sleep, which it sounds as though they were doing. With inevitable huge cuts to the arts budget I can see at least one of the London orchestras going. On this and many more showings the Philharmonia are the very worst band by quite a long way of a very mediocre bunch indeed.
