You all fighting can have your differances, but remember there are larger issues facing christianaity then the small differances between the filioque, and the issue of the Holy Father as Patriach of the whole west, I hear that recently the popes have been not using that title as often anyway. well i am not too familiar on the eastern rite liturgy, i only get to see it online. but those i've spoken with assure me that it is unchange. and just becaus they change it doesn't mean it has become latinized. if they don't speak latin and don't go to the latin church and don't have to go to the latin priest when theirs are around, they are not latinized. the latin church itself isn't latinized, and it needs to be

I dont want to continue with the argument but listen.. Eastern Catholics are Latinized enough to be Roman.. The byzantines took off the whole part after the Antiphons and do the small entrance on "O word of God" when it should be said in the troparion.. the maronites, syriacs, and chaldeans are far from Easter and the Coptics have reformed the liturgy of Saint Basil that its much shorter and less detailed in prayer than the original one.. not latin enough

ok dude or dudette there is no roman superiority and missionary among the orthodox, that's why we have eastern catholics. they are united with the Pope and not under the Pope or did u miss that part? They also do not get latinized or whatever. They keep their liturgy. They are not inferior.

Conspiracy theory huh.. no there is history that tell us of everything. By the way, I am an orthodox convert to Roman Catholicism and I attend a latin old mass Dominican parish! I am not against the Catholic church or the holy father, I am against Roman superiority and missionary efforts among the Orthodox!

You need a reality check.. what happened to the Armenian Catholicos Avidik of Constantinople who was killed in 1711 at the hands of the Inquisitions for kicking out the Jesuits from Arzarum who were trying to steal his flock.
