Academic Work is building schools in Zambia. To contribute to the education of youths is important for us. We know that education, and especially the possibility to learn how to read and write is an important key of giving individuals the opportunity to affect their own future.

Response Network is an organization that works by the idea of help-to-self help. This means that they are educating villagers how they can improve their every-day life. In the project of building schools -- they educate them how to build up a school by their own. The villagers burn their own bricks and receive support from Academic Work with the material that they can't produce by themselves, such as plaster and material for roof, windows and doors. This means that we do not only contribute to education -- we're also creating job opportunities to unemployed adults.

We visited Response Network for two times and this short movie is a way of showing the result of the great work they put in to this project.
