"Surgical Options for prostate enlargement Surgical intervention is now less common due to alternative effective and less intrusive therapies. Surgery is usually the handiest long-term option for tricky to manage or more significant complications springing from an enlarged prostate.
There are a number of surgical procedures for it, transurethral resection of the prostate, transurethral incision of the prostate or Open Prostatectomy. All of these procedures need infirmary in-patient care, a general analgesic and time off work.Side effects can arise from infection, nerve or structural damage and include loss of bladder control, impotency, ejaculation problems.

Interesting video, I wasn't really looking for this topic but I found it very informative. I was looking for bladder problems that in this case is a consequence of an infection post-surgery. There is more information either on bladder or prostat problems at Symposier site for physicians interested in these and other medical topics.
